NBC Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, October 12, tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will have a hard time taking the next step. Eli recorded Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) confession, but giving it to Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will unleash a world of trouble – both for Kristen and for Eli.

Although this confession tape will keep Lani out of prison, it could also tear Eli’s marriage apart. Eli will be sealing Kristen’s fate if he hands it over, so Lani might find that unforgivable. After Eli wrestles with what to do, he’ll decide it’s best to come clean to Kristen and let her know what he’s up against. It won’t be long until Eli shows up at Kristen’s door to make a confession of his own.

In the meantime, Melinda will fully expect Eli to deliver the goods. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Melinda will be brimming with confidence when she approaches Kristen on Monday. DA Trask will make it clear that Kristen’s day of reckoning is just around the corner. Melinda’s mostly hoping to get justice for her daughter, Haley Chen (Thia Megia) – even if it’s not for the right case!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gwen Rizczech Gets Chummy

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will try to get chummy with Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). Gwen’s working on a plot to take down Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), so it’s wise to get to know Abby’s parents a bit better and work every angle she can.

Of course, Jack and Jenn seem to be suspicious of Gwen – and Monday’s DOOL episode probably won’t do much to change that. Nevertheless, Gwen will pump Jennifer and Jack for info. She’ll also act like she’s Abigail’s bestie and perhaps praises the kids for being so wonderful. Gwen will want to present herself a doting nanny and someone who actually cares about the Deveraux family.

There’s a good chance Gwen is Jack’s long-lost daughter and Abigail’s half-sister based on the clues Days has been offering, but we’ll see how it all plays out. As for Abigail, she’ll have a long talk with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about the importance of family unity. Abigail will think Chad should make peace with his brother, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), but it’ll be tough to get Chad on board.

Even so, Chad will agree to pay Jake a visit and try to make amends – if only for Abigail’s sake. Unfortunately, this plan will get complicated when Jake has an outraged reaction at the garage. Jake will rant about being the heir while his little brother’s spare! He’ll try to assert his dominance and argue that he should be next in line for the DiMera throne.

Days spoilers say Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will have to jump in and help bring these sparring siblings together. Even before Chad arrives, Kate will have an intriguing connection going on with Jake. Although Kate promised to keep an eye on Jake for Chad, it seems like maybe she could have her eye on him romantically, too. Kate may at least want to get Jake in bed eventually!
