What would tear them apart but allow them to come back together if Konefla decided to return to the soap? What would provide an interesting story that would have fans rooting for “Cin?’ With Ben always being the demonized one of the relationships, how can that be flipped so it’s Ciara causing pain this time? Can it also be used to create empathy for Ben? All of these were factors in the amnesia storyline.

Ben and Ciara have been torn apart but neither of them is to blame. Ciara has no memory of her relationship with Ben. He tried to get her to remember their love but all of his efforts failed. Theo came back to Salem and he was someone familiar with Ciara’s “new” and confused reality. He always made her feel safe, which is why it’s so easy for her to cling to him. Even though Theo and Ciara leave Salem and go to South Africa, it won’t be forever. In fact, Carlivati confirmed to Soap Opera Digest that Ciara will be back in summer 2021.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Ben and Claire have a close friendship. They have also both been rejected by Ciara. Her most recent memories just happen to be painful ones with Claire front and center. While many fans predict Ben and Claire will be paired romantically, the scribe said something interesting. That Ben and Claire will continue to get close. However, Carlivti said that doesn’t mean they will turn romantic.

Carlivati wouldn’t give out too many details but did say we will get the next chapter in Ben and Ciara’s story.

“When would she be available or willing to come back, and when could we tell the next chapter because I knew that would feel unfinished and be unsatisfying to a lot of people. So that’s why I’m happy to announce here that Ciara is coming back and we are going to tell that next chapter of the story and hopefully, this time, the audience will get the payoff that they’re looking for and hoping for.”

It sounds like Ciara’s memories will not have come back yet. However, there is still that feeling of a connection that can be used to reunite “Cin.” In fact, the head writer teased that we will see romance for Ben and Ciara but how do they keep the fire burning with Konefal, not on contract?

“We are working with Victoria to keep the story going and keep Ben and Ciara’s love story alive.”
