Marlena Evans’ Horror
Let’s talk about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) first. Fans watched as he recalled Rachel shooting him on that fateful night. The little girl knew instantly that she made a huge mistake, but it was too late.
EJ has already been shot and Rachel looked as stunned as the victim. Now that EJ remembers, he will alert Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Maybe it’s a good thing that the doctor is taking an indefinite leave of absence from the hospital.
While it was due to budget cuts, now she will need to focus on fixing Rachel. It seems a few people are already picking up on it, though. Belle wondered who Marlena and EJ would both want to protect. So, what does that mean for Rachel?

Kristen DiMera’s Discovery
It seems that at court, the news is announced that Rachel is the real shooter. I’m not sure if it happens before or after the jury makes its decision.
However, a preview clip shows the bailiff holding Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) back as she screams in anguish. Kristen is also holding her arms forward, indicating that she’s reaching out to someone, such as her child.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, August 20 reveal that Alex will make a pitch to Stephanie. Does this have something to do with her upcoming book?
Or could this be about Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) digging into Alex’s past? Maybe he wants his girlfriend to do some PR for his reputation, or even Titan’s.
However, since Steve opened up to Stephanie a bit about the case, she is stuck in the middle. So, she might not be able to help Alex because of the conflicts of interest.

Plus, Philip reconnects with Belle. The executive will remind the blonde that she deserves so much better than EJ. While the man is right, I hope that they don’t rekindle their former romance.
Belle deserves way better than both EJ and Philip combined.
