Of course, this was just a wild goose chase. Expect Stephanie to be horrified and then furious over Steve’s actions. By the time Steve and John return home, though, Kayla and Marlena will already be gone.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, August 24 reveal that Stefan is awake. Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) was about to brainwash Stefan so his memories of Gabi were replaced with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). However, Stefan woke up before Dr. Rolf could do the brainwashing.

On Wednesday, August 24, Stefan will have one mission in mind. Stefan is determined to find Gabi.

In Wednesday’s episode, fans can also expect Dr. Rolf to share bad news with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). Li will learn that Stefan has escaped the lab and is looking for Gabi. Li might distract Gabi while Dr. Rolf looks for Stefan. Will Stefan and Gabi reunite or will it be intercepted by Li and Dr. Rolf?

Since spoilers for next week tease that Stefan “finally” escapes, it sounds like the reunion might not happen just yet. However, will the brainwashing continue or could Stefan fight it every step of the way? It sounds like this storyline is just kicking off, so expect more drama before a happy ending.
