What makes this complicated, though, is that Alex isn’t the only one keeping secrets. Theresa has a secret too and it’s a doozy!

So, Theresa might continue to play Alex in a quest to just get her hands on the money. At the same time, Theresa is already conning Alex. Just because she has feelings for him now doesn’t mean the scheme can be forgiven.
