Days of Our Lives Spoilers Wednesday, May 27: Jake’s Dream Brings Bombshells – Abigail & Chad’s Family Farewell – Eli Asks Lani to Marry

NBC Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, May 27, tease that Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will share a sweet kiss with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) before Lani Price (Sal Stowers) interrupts along with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). There’s a good chance the recent Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) drama will be part of that conversation.

Afterward, Ciara will need a favor from Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). That might involve asking Julie to officiate the “Cin” nuptials. Someone has to perform this wedding, so it might as well be Julie. Although Julie’s had some issues with Ben throughout his relationship with Ciara, Julie’s mellowed lately and may find a way to put Ciara’s happiness first.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Jack Deveraux Corners Gabi

Over with Gabi, she’ll get an earful from Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). DOOL fans know Gabi’s still being blamed for drugging Abigail, but another mystery culprit is presumably behind that attack. Of course, Abigail’s family remains convinced of Gabi’s guilt and that’s not going to change anytime soon.

Days spoilers say Jack will lash out at Gabi for the ordeal he thinks she set in motion. Abigail’s heading off to Florida for treatment, so she’ll be forced to separate from her kids for a while. Not to mention the torment going on in Abigail’s mind! Jack will feel like Gabi’s despicable for starting this mess, but Gabi will undoubtedly stand by her innocence.

As for Abigail, she’ll prepare to begin treatment down at the clinic. Abigail was reluctant to let Chad go with her, but she finally surrendered in the end. Nevertheless, Chad’s under strict orders to come home if Abigail’s treatment takes longer than they hoped. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will return to Salem this summer – just in time for Gabi’s trial!

However, there’ll be a little “Chabby” family farewell for now. Chad and Abigail will sit down with Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) as well as Charlotte DiMera. They’ll offer a kid-friendly version of what’s going on and leave the tots with their loving grandparents. Thomas and Charlotte always enjoy spending like with Grandpa Jack and Grandma Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves), so they’ll be fine.

It’s Abigail who’ll take this goodbye the hardest, but she’ll get lots of support to help her through it. Jack, Jennifer and Chad will even surround Abigail for a big group hug before the episode wraps up. After that, Abigail will catch her Florida flight and concentrate on recovering with this new treatment option.

Next, Days viewers will see Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) sleeping soundly in his bed. That kind of scene usually means a dream will be featured. Jake might have a hot one centered around Gabi or this could involve Gabi’s plan on Wednesday, which involves stabbing Jake with a syringe full of the true serum. It’ll be interesting to see whether Gabi actually injects Jake or if that’s part of his dream.

Back with Eli, he’ll get down on one knee and ask Lani to marry him. After Lani accepts Eli’s ring, she’ll excitedly pull up her phone calendar. Lani will be eager to nail down a date for their wedding, but this will lead to the realization that she’s “late” first. Once Lani brings Eli in the loop, they’ll make plans for a pregnancy test and wonder if Lani actually has a bun in the oven.
