Intense Showdown

Let’s start off by talking about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Fans know that Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) already gloated to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) about EJ’s legal plans. 

However, EJ is also in some legal trouble due to the tainted Coriseal investigation. EJ might be trying to cover his tracks, but there are already too many loose ends. 

Since Johnny was identified on the hospital’s camera, he won’t be able to talk his way out of this. However, everyone knows Johnny isn’t the bad guy. That role belongs to EJ. 

Sydney DiMera’s Intel

Over with Sydney, she will learn some shocking intel. Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall) lay out their concerns about the Italian clues.

So, they will try to see if Sydney can recall EJ, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), or anyone else mentioning Marino DiMera.

They have already connected that Marino and DiMera both mean “of the sea”. That isn’t a coincidence. 

I don’t see Sydney knowing any information. However, with her being a lawyer, she definitely could do some digging.

Theo Carver’s Confusion

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, September 23 reveal that Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) still doesn’t know what to do about the FDA/DiMera citation.

The young man will open up to Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Of course, Abe never wanted his son to work for DiMera for this very reason. 

Theo won’t want to hear “I told you so.” Theo needs guidance right now. So, hopefully, Abe can give his son some words of wisdom.

Julie Williams’ Guidance

Speaking of wisdom, Julie gives Maggie some in tomorrow’s episode. This is clearly over Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) bombshell.

Maggie is furious that Philip gave into his addiction. However, Philip also saved Titan. It might not have been the most moral solution, but it saved the company nonetheless. 

So, maybe Julie will reason with Maggie and encourage her to give Philip a bit of a break. The only reason why Philip entertained the idea was because everyone was desperate. Plus, in a way, Philip also wanted redemption. 

Plus, we could also see a thaw with Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) once he learns Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) story, so stay tuned!
