Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that after Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) open up to each other about their feelings, they worry. Will others notice what’s going on between them and take concern they’re moving forward too soon?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers -Jack Deveraux Urges Chad DiMera

Chad has been holding back his feelings and attractions to Stephanie for quite some time, concerned that he’s moving forward too fast from his late wife.

But his father in law Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is giving him his blessing, and urging him to move forward and find happiness and new love. Jack knows that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) would just want Chad to be happy, and he’s been anything but.

Chad decides to take his father’s advice, and visit Stephanie to help her grieve. Chad was the one who tried to call her to let her know her mother was dying right after he lost Kate Brady, (Lauren Koslow) a woman like a mother to him.

DOOL Spoilers – Things Progress Rather Quickly

Things progress rather quickly for the pair, because there’s nothing like grieving together to form a bond – and sharing memories of loved ones passed, and supporting each other. Abigail and Stephanie were first cousins, so Chad is like one of the family right away anyway; and the two women are alike in some ways.

Chad’s little children certainly took to her, the times she’s stepped in to help-and that’s also a very good thing; Stephanie was even able to get them to sleep. Jack’s blessing and encouragement have meant a lot to Chad, and he knows he’s right about Abigail wanting him to be happy. She’d thoroughly approve of what’s happening between himself and her cousin, and the little ones taking to her is even better.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What Will Others Think?

Chad and Stephanie do take some concern of what others on the outside might thing, especially since Abigail’s death was so publicized. But it’s been nearly a year since her murder happened, and they agree it’s okay to move forward. It’s no one’s business but theirs, the children’s, and their close family’s anyway, and Jack has given his blessing, and Chad agrees to stay close to the family.

Having gone through his own late wife’s murder and all the adjustments and grief, not to mention his wanting revenge, he’s the perfect support. He perfectly understands Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) wanting revenge and justice for Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) death.
