It’s been some time since we heard about Reeves’ not returning to the set. Even though it was explained that it was due to COVID-19, most actors would agree to interviews to discuss the situation. As far as I know, Reeves hasn’t done that yet, which is surprising. It was stated that her absence is just temporary, but nothing was said about when she could return. Is it a few months? The first day of spring? Or when the COVID-19 cases stop skyrocketing? None of that information was revealed.

So, we are thinking that Reeves is thinking about retiring, but isn’t quite ready to make that final decision yet. She does adore her new grandchildren and is loving spending time with her family. We have a feeling that Reeves isn’t going to come back at all. We also don’t think she will take any other acting jobs. It seems likely she just wants to focus on her family, which we understand.
