It is teased that the brain chip will either be removed, get damaged or malfunction. When he gets back to his old self, Steve could struggle with losing Dr. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). He will also have to deal with the evil acts “Steve-ano” committed.

Brain Chip Extraction Surgery

DOOL spoilers reveal that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will be back to her real self after Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) removes the brain chip. However, will Stefano also go through the brain chip removal surgery? Dr. Rolf told Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) that the only person he would never betray is Stefano. He is devoted to the man, even after death.

Due to his devotion, Dr. Rolf will likely refuse to remove the brain chip from Stefano. But there might be another way to get the real Steve back.

It is teased that Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) injures Stefano. Could she hit him over the head and cause the brain chip to dislodge? Perhaps it gets damaged during the attack? Just one hard and quick whack could cause the brain chip to malfunction.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Stefano’s treatment of Kayla has been painful for her. Of course, she didn’t realize that Steve’s mind and body had been possessed by a computer chip containing Stefano’s “essence.” When the real Steve emerges, how will Kayla handle it? She has already moved on with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). Could “Stayla” get back together or has too much happened? Plus, how will Steve make amends for the awful way he treated his “sweetness?”

Another thing that Steve will have to cope with is the evil acts that were committed by “Steve-ano.” He will be horrified that he nearly killed his best friend, John Black (Drake Hogestyn). He kidnapped Kayla and Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Plus, there is Stefano and Marlena’s wedding, which hopefully can be stopped before it’s too late.

Not to mention brainwashing Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to kill Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). There is so much that Stefano has done. Even though it wasn’t him, he will still struggle with the guilt. It seems that perhaps Kayla would be the perfect person to help him heal and make amends.
