Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Where Is James Scott Now, Will EJ DiMera Return Some Day?

Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that diehard James Scott (EJ DiMera) fans have never stopped believing in the possibility that he would someday return to the soap and once again engage in major escapades with his true love, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).

Is this a possibility? While there has been no word on bringing the character back, there is always an open door on soaps for characters to return, either with their original portrayer or as a recast.

What we do know is that Sami is due for a visit to Salem. Will she bring EJ?

At this time EJ is presumably still recuperating with Sami. You’ll recall that after never quite believing that her beloved EJ was dead, Sami’s wish came true. In the end, she found him in a Memphis warehouse where he had been stashed by his evil sister Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

But before EJ could get out to safety, a fire swept through the building causing chaos and confusion. EJ was indeed alive afterward, but he was burned and scarred. Eventually, a DNA test proved that Sami had been right all along and her husband was alive.

DOOL Spoilers – Sami Will Be Coming Home To Salem Soon, But Will She Bring EJ With Her?

After learning that the mystery man was indeed EJ, Sami took him to a town with better medical facilities where he could recuperate. It should be noted that this version of EJ was not played by James Scott, but by Trey Baxter.

In all truth, James Scott has not expressed much if any interest in returning to DOOL.

The popular British actor was thought of as a very eligible bachelor until he married Kaitlin Robinson in 2015. The two were introduced by Patti Stanger, past host of Bravo’s The Millionaire Matchmaker. Stanger has appeared on DOOL six times and was the force behind Scott’s happily ever after!

Scott and Robinson dated for four years before tying the knot in 2015. The couple is very private about their lives and has kept a low profile in general, but more recently it was announced that in the summer of 2019 DOOL fans would have the opportunity to meet Scott aboard a Niagara Falls cruise.
