Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Whitley Pays Paulina Her Condolences, Lani Looks On With Suspicion?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Whitley King (Kim Coles) will go to Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) funeral and pay Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) her condolences. However, she won’t recognize Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) nearby who is looking on and watching her with suspicion!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lani Price Grant Asks About Whitley King

Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is with Lani at the memorial service and tells her Whitley is the nurse who was caring for Abe when he was in Salem University Hospital. She also was assigned to Paulina after Abe disappeared and came to the SPD to answer questions, but wouldn’t answer the door when Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) knocked.

They couldn’t find anything to tie her to Abe’s disappearance, but Lani notes she has a resemblance to a younger Paulina and thinks it bizarre. There was no evidence that Abe had wandered out of his hospital room possibly following the nurse-he just disappeared. Another question is if Abe was confused, why did he recognize Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) when she visited him –something’s not adding up!

DOOL Spoilers -Looking At The Case File

Even though Lani is technically still a prisoner, Eli was able to pull some strings to arrange a furlough for family reasons, specifically Abe’s death and Paulina’s bereavement. She is able to stay for a couple of weeks but then has to return to complete her term, but she is determined to make the most of her brief furlough.

Lani wants to look at the case file and find out more about this nurse if she can, what she said when she was questioned. She is very suspicious about Whitley, but even more so when she sees the case file and the witness who saw him fall in is an actor she recognizes!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – More Questioning Of The Nurse Needs To Be Made

Lani is starting by this time to think that perhaps Abe is not dead after all-too much of the evidence isn’t adding up and even the witness’s story seems off. No blood running down the dock post, just on the top like it was painted on.

Even though Eli tells her to let it go and let the SPD handle it, she needs closure and needs to find out if Abe is really dead or not. Meanwhile, Theo catches up with Steve and Kayla Johnson (Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Steve and John put together what they know about Abe and his disappearance, and they become suspicious as well.
