Days of Our Lives spoilers have got fans on their toes wondering who in the world is Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) really? A good-hearted manny who professes his love for kids every second he gets, a handsome home wreaker, someone with a sordid past and score to settle or all of the above?

Whatever the tall drink of water has to hide, it looks like the cats are about to spill out of the bag sooner rather than later thanks to Rafe’s (Galen Gering) background request. Uh-oh, was that a look of utter fear on Evan’s face upon learning that his identity is about to be exposed? Something caused that sour look, and it wasn’t his earlier canoodling with Sonny (Freddie Smith)!

Days of Our Lives spoilers – What does Evan Frears have to hide?

Evan is a mystery manny no doubt about it. Here’s what we do know: when Rafe broke the news that he’s set to adopt baby David, Evan had a strange reaction. He’s attached to the tot, no doubt about it. But something doesn’t sit right with his facial expressions and reactions regarding the baby. The lack of clues as to who the diaper duty guy has fans speculating like mad about his real ID, with some scenarios more likely than others.

DOOL Spoilers – Evan Frears has a connection to David Ridgeway that goes beyond diaper duty

Most viewers think Evan has a biological connection to the child in his care, thus his sudden appearance and reluctance to have him be adopted by Rafe. Too bad the baby momma Jordan (Chrishell Hartley) isn’t around to confirm this version of events (or is she?!).

At any rate, my hunch is that his and Jordan’s relationship was a simple business transaction, quid quo pro if you will! You can fill in the blanks: Jordan wanted a baby, Evan needed some money, and voila, baby David appeared nine months later.

Days of Our Lives spoilers – Things are way off in Salem these days

But, if we’re being honest here, Salem has been off its axis recently. That whole Leap Forward in time plot point has got everyone a little jetty and with good reason. Plenty of people aren’t who they seem to be. Case in point, The Sisters of Mercy, aka Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Lani (Sal Stowers).

Not to mention Patchano (Stephen Nichols). This is Salem where people don’t just come back from the dead with evil twins tagging along–they go so far as to get possessed and levitate.

So, who’s to say we’re not dealing with a whole new species of weird with Evan? Until recently Dr. Rolf (William Utay) was in town, and Evan could be one of his new breed of creatures, his mission not yet revealed. Stay tuned fans, the truth is often stranger than fiction!
