Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Who Was The Best DOOL Recast Of 2020? Vote Now!

NBC’s Days Of Our Lives has had several new cast members this year. However, not all of them were new characters. Several Salem characters have been recast due to leaving the show and sometimes unforeseen circumstances. Who are the best recasts of 2020?

Theo Carver

Days of Our Lives Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) has been missing for a while. Theo left town for treatment after being shot by J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss) and was recast so he could make a trip to Salem this year. Theo and J.J. are now partners and both came in for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) anniversary party that turned into a circus. Unfortunately, the two got called away very quickly so we didn’t see much of the new Theo. However, from what fans saw, the new Theo turned out pretty well.

Claire Brady

Days of Our Lives Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) was another recast that occurred this year. Isabel immediately jumped into the role of Claire leaving no time to adjust to the change. However, Isabel plays sane Claire just as well as Olivia Rose Keegan did Crazy Claire. It is actually good that Isabel took over at a transition period because they are almost like two different characters. However, Isabel has made Claire her own. Now that Claire’s boyfriend is about to be revealed as a rapist, Isabel should have some very emotional material coming her way.

Jennifer Deveraux

Days of Our Lives Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) was a shocking recast. Melissa Reeves has played Jennifer for decades and fans never believed she would walk away. Unfortunately, Reeves’s exit was rumored to be COVID-19 related. Travel restriction can certainly cause issues when working from across the country. However, recasting a long term character is very hard. However, Cady is doing a good job so far. It probably helps that Jennifer and Jack are fightings so we don’t miss the chemistry between those characters. However, one must question if Jack and Jennifer will ever reunite with Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) trying to keep them apart.

Vivian Alamain

Days of Our Lives Louise Sorel walked into Days of Our Lives set many moons ago as the troublesome Vivian Alamain. Vivian was loud, manipulative, and struck on Victor Kiraikis (John Aniston). However, Louise couldn’t stick around for Vivian’s various storylines concerning her newfound son. ABC recast Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian Lord OLTL) Robin was a great recast but several fans didn’t like her version of Vivian. While we found Robin great in the role, ABC has recast the role for a second time this year.
