Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease someone’s collecting DiMeras, and shoving them into the family mausoleum for storage! But who’s the culprit, and why are they doing it-could it be EJ DiMera, (Dan Feurreriegel) or might it be someone else?

Where There’s Smoke, Fire!

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire-we have to acknowledge that there’s a lot of smoke surrounding Days of Our Lives’ EJ!

We’ve been curious about who is behind the DiMera family kidnappings and even created a useful list of suspects-EJ is included, of course, but he wasn’t our first pick. However, maybe he should be.

The main reason we haven’t taken EJ seriously for kidnapping his family members is that it seems too obvious-but that doesn’t mean it’s not true. As far as we know, EJ is the only family member currently involved in a secret project.

EJ Has Some Grand Plans

He has grand plans, and the only thing we know is we’re still in the dark about their extent-we also don’t know how far EJ has reverted to his questionable methods.

If taking his family members helps EJ achieve his objectives, he wouldn’t hesitate to do it as long as they remain unharmed, that is.

Last we saw, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) was kidnapped by Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel). Megan Hathaway DiMera (Miranda C. Wilson) has been on the run, although the last sighting was with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton), who has recently returned.

It’s suspected EJ persuaded Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to collaborate with him by ensuring that Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) never comes back to claim the fortune she’s been using—but, surprise!

EJ Has Motives For Kidnapping His Family

Regarding the Salem DiMeras, if EJ removes Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) from the equation, he can gain Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) trust. And then he can use it to oust him from the company and take control for himself.

With Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) absent, he can postpone Jack and Jennifer Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford, Melissa Reeves) custody hearing.

As terrible as it is he could make Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) so anxious about his dad that he understands how much he loves him and wants to stay with him. Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) situation is a bit tricky, but EJ knows she shouldn’t be in prison since she didn’t actually shoot him.

So, Did EJ Kidnap His Family, Or Is Someone Else Collecting DiMeras And Putting Them In The Family Mausoleum?

So, did EJ kidnap the DiMeras-he’s been quite indifferent about their disappearance and vague in his assurances that he’s investigating it, leading Cat to believe he’s involved.

Now that she’s drugged him and can freely search the DiMera mansion (who’s left to stop her?), we might finally uncover the truth, one way or another. On the flip side, in the latest promo video released on Friday, December 5, Theo is included among the captives in the DiMera mausoleum.

But at the very end, another man, likely a DiMera, is pushed through the door; and that suit looks strikingly similar to the one EJ was wearing!

So who’s behind the kidnapping of the DiMeras — with Dimitri on his way back, we’re betting on either Dimitri, his mother Megan, or perhaps even a not-so-dead Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis)!
