Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Camila Banus announced earlier this month that she was leaving Days of Our Lives and the role of Gabi Hernandez. Why is Camila leaving now that Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi have reunited?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – “Stabi” Fans Have Waited For Years

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that “Stabi” (Stefan and Gabi) fans have waited for years for a reunion and have finally gotten it. Stefan’s twin, Jake Dimera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi were just not what the fans had gotten used to between Camila and Brandon. The dynamic between these two actors as Stefan and Gabi has been amazing from the start.

It took four years for fans to finally get this couple back only to learn that Camila has chosen to leave. Of course, an exit wasn’t Camila’s first choice, but it became her ultimate choice in the end. Camila’s contract had come to an end and the producers could not give her what she asked for, which was more time off to start a family and do other projects. Considering this, she had no choice but to leave.

DOOL Spoilers – Camila Banus And Brandon Barash’s Interview

Recently, Camila and Brandon gave an interview about the breakup of Stefan and Gabi. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Camila and Brandon reveal that Gabi and Stefan will eventually break up but it will be interesting to watch. Unfortunately, we are not too sure that fans will exactly find it as interesting as the actors believe after waiting for years for a reunion.

Brandon says, “I am, of course, bummed out that I’m losing such a great scene partner, but I’m so excited for Camila and whatever this next phase of her life brings. “I’m really excited to go into the unknown and see what lies ahead for me on the other side of this, and the same goes for Stefan.”

Banus added, “You never know what the cards hold for Gabi and Stefan, and I think this will add another dynamic to ‘Stabi’ and to Stefan.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Most Characters Are Never Truly Gone

Banus admits that soap characters are never truly gone so who knows what will happen. Perhaps the powers that be may be open to a return later on if Banus decides to come back. With Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) coming back to Salem, it is hard to say what might happen to Gabi. Could Vivian bury her alive somewhere?

Perhaps Gabi will be brainwashed this time and possibly return later. No matter what the situation, Banus and Barash can certainly be counted on to give it their all. We wish Camila luck in all of her endeavors including the family. Hopefully, Camila and Gabi will return one day soon.
