Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is still feeling massive guilt for killing Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). However, the actor also explained that at the same time, he is grateful to be in prison. It helps him avoid facing Adrienne’s family.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Will Horton’s Prison Experience
DOOL spoilers indicate Will has been pretty quiet since he has been in prison. It is ironic that his cellmate is the man formerly known as the Necktie Killer. As fans recall, when Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) was in serial killer mode, Will was murdered. The inmate can’t do anything about the prisoners that share his space. He can choose to ignore them and stay silent.
This is what he did when Ben was telling his entire life story and trying to figure out who framed him. Will didn’t want to be Ben’s therapist and mostly tuned him out. However, that all changed after Ben saved Will from Clyde Weston’s (James Read) wrath.
DOOL Spoilers: Pushing Loved Ones Away
It is clear that Will is pushing his loved ones away, especially Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith). The prisoner asked his husband to stop visiting. More recently, he decided to make the ultimate sacrifice and give Sonny a divorce.
Last week, Massey explained to Soap Opera Digest that “Wilson” can’t ever get past Adrienne’s murder. He loves Sonny so much that he wants him to move on and be happy. Part of this might be due to his prison sentence. However, it seems that the other part of it might have to do with his intense guilt.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Justin Kiriakis’ Forgiveness
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Will was overwhelmed with emotion after talking to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). The husband of Adrienne told Will that he forgives him and still loves the Salemite like a son. It appears that others have forgiven Will for his actions. However, he is having a hard time forgiving himself.
DOOL Spoilers: Avoiding Adrienne Kiriakis’ Family
In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Massey was asked about Will’s state of mind in prison. The actor indicated that he’s not doing great, but is relieved to be in prison. This way, he doesn’t have to face the family of Adrienne, whom he killed.g
“He’s definitely seen better days. I think he is actually grateful that he’s in prison because it can sort of shield him from seeing all the faces of Adrienne’s family and he can just hide in his cell from the world.”
However, Will can’t hide forever. He has to eventually confront his actions and forgive himself. When that happens, will he regret pushing everyone away? Could he end up wishing he hadn’t let go of the man he loves? Fans will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to see how this storyline plays out.
