Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that raising a teen is no easy feat, and Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) is facing a fresh kind of drama when it comes to Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).

Not only did Holly pop pills that caused her to overdose, thus falling into a coma for weeks, but she lied about it all, and Tate Black (Leo Howard) suffered a tremendous amount of grief trying to clear his name.

Nicole and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) marriage has only gotten stronger with every week that goes by; however, as Holly is slowly starting to hate her new stepfather, could she be the one who breaks these two apart?

Days spoilers note that EJ and Nicole have been through far too much since they’ve said their, “I do’s”. They got hitched, and it felt as if all heck broke loose!

Not only did they lose (or so they think) their baby son, but Nicole also dealt with a mental health breakdown, and then Holly OD’d and fell into a coma.

Throughout each challenge, the DiMera super couple only got stronger; however, Holly’s disdain could be the very thing that breaks them.

While Nicole is standing firm on her punishment, EJ is not Holly’s dad, and things could get sticky if he tries to interfere with disciplining his stepdaughter.

Then again, Holly has proven that the apple does not fall too far from the tree, so she could also scheme to break the two up, just to rid herself of DiMera, for good.

Fans know that Arianne Zucker’s days are numbered with the show, as her contract wasn’t renewed in late January.

The actress has launched a sexual harassment suit on the show, and it doesn’t look like Zucker will be returning to the soap, anytime soon.

As the show films about six months in advance, viewers get to see Arianne until about June or July, so what will her exit storyline be?

Could she leave Salem to take a break from EJ and their marriage, because of Holly? This is a strong possibility.
