Days of Our Lives Spoilers tease that the battle for the CEO position at Titan Industries may be over for now, but that doesn’t mean that Phillip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Tefler) don’t still have something, or in this case someone, to fight over. It was fairly clear that Phillip is quite attracted to Sarah Horton (Lindsay Godfrey), even though any interest she may have shown in return was just for show. But Phillip might be angry at both Xander and Sarah for ratting his mob dealings to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).

Xander gave up the CEO position when it became clear that Victor wasn’t going to fire Phillip. That means that his main focus going forward will be no other that his true love, Sarah. Look for a romantic engagement for the couple in the near future. It would seem that their romance should have no further obstacles. But in Salem, true love doesn’t quite always work that way. Phillip may not even really want Sarah, and could easily just use her as a means of revenge.

Phillip got the CEO position, so he should be happy that Xander backed off. But Phillip won’t likely forget how hard Xander worked to get him fired. So what better way to get back at Xander than to destroy his relationship with Sarah? Sarah, for her part, hasn’t shown any signs of having any kind of feelings for Phillip. Anytime she cozied up with Phillip, it was to help Xander get information on Phillip.

Phillip and Sarah were working together on a charity event for Titan Industries. With the event’s date looming, it would seem quite feasible that Phillip would demand that Sarah finish what she started. And since it’s for charity, Sarah won’t be able to say no. Long hours spent together, missed phone calls, and suspicious texts might all play into Phillip’s plan. Of course, he won’t be able to separate Xander and Sarah for good. But that doesn’t mean he won’t give it a shot!
