DOOL spoilers reveal that we saw Hope’s final scene earlier this week. It was of her grieving the death of Ciara. Holding a framed photo of Ciara, Hope cried and Shawn was trying to comfort her. Although fans felt that Hope deserved a bigger send-off, that’s not the soap’s fault. Alfonso is the one who never came back to set or give any kind of notice that she was leaving. So, an exit story couldn’t be written, much less filmed.

As for Ciara, she is presumed dead if the lab reports are to be trusted. However, there is reason to believe that she is alive and being held captive somewhere. But for the time being, both Ciara and Hope are gone. That means there is really only one Brady left… Shawn.

One fan shared a beautiful graphic and wrote the following statement, “Say goodbye to the whole family except Shawn @brandonbeemer I pray he’s not leaving! We need at least 1 person from Hope & Bo’s family on Days! Please don’t leave! @kristianalfonso @peterreckell @BoAndHope.”

Beemer replied, “I really hope Shawn doesn’t go anywhere!”

It sounds like for the time being, Shawn is going to remain in Salem and on the police force. That should give him plenty of stories, especially if Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) stick around.
