Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander And Sarah’s Hasty Marriage Decision

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will decide to get married right away. Their hasty marriage decision comes after realizing that things can change quickly in life, and tomorrow’s not promised so they want to seal their promises to each other.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – So Much Death

There has been so much death in Salem lately, and the murder of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) has affected Sarah and Xander directly. If it hadn’t been for Abigail, Sarah would never have been found; it has been a process to restore Sarah back to mostly herself, although she still has some breakthrough hallucinations. Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) pardon by the governor has made Xander more protective of Sarah, and they have decided to move up their marriage plans before something untoward happens.

Xander doesn’t trust his former boss Kristen at all and he threw her under the bus long ago; she threw him under it too. His love for Sarah had inspired him to be a better man, and he’s been trying to live his past down ever since.

DOOL Spoilers –  Cannot Keep Delaying

Xander and Sarah got right up to the night before their wedding was to take place, then Kristen kidnapped Sarah, and shipped her to the island in a steamer trunk. Sarah got the full dose into her veins of the same serum that Abigail only had a couple of drops of in a drink and took months to recover from.

When Xander finally was reunited with Sarah, she didn’t know who he was or who she was, and created her own identity of Renee Dumonde (Philece Sampler) from an old diary. It took several more months for Sarah to recover to her own identity, not helped by Xander’s ex-fiancée Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) sabotaging her recovery. With both Kristen and Gwen now out of jail, Days of Our Lives spoilers show Xander knows he and Sarah cannot keep delaying their nuptials and move on their wedding right away.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Elope, Perhaps?

With everything happening around them, now finding out that Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) was shot in his office, Xander and Sarah consider that possibly eloping might be the best plan. Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will understand, they are sure, why they are making this hasty marriage decision and they can always have a post-wedding ceremony for the family later. Xander and Sarah discuss eloping and then going on an extended honeymoon away from Salem.

Perhaps this is the best and the safest way to ensure that their “hitching” goes off without a “hitch” this time. Not to mention a kidnapping or worse like has happened previously.
