Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gwen Rizchech Is Worried When Xander Cook Still Wants To See Sarah Horton’s Recovery Through

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that after Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) so unceremoniously jabbed Sarah/Renee DuMonde (Linsey Godfrey) with that syringe full of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) untested antidote, Sarah did get her memories back – but only up till kindergarten age! Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that the police were called and Anna was arrested because it took a while for the antidote to take effect and Sarah was still in her Renee persona when she called the cops! This puts a whole different spin on things with Sarah for Xander, especially after her mother, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) tells him that Sarah’s brain damage is even more extensive after Anna pumped her full of the flawed antidote! Before, Xander tried to get through to the subconscious real Sarah as a friend and former fiancé, dealing with her as someone who’s developed a mental illness. Gwen is still insecure about Xander wanting to see Sarah’s possibility of recovery through, and just wants to try to get through to her one more time; noting any romance would be impossible when Sarah is five years old in her mind and behavior!

DOOL Spoilers – Xander Cook Has To Try To Get Through To Subconscious Adult Sarah Even If He’s Unsuccessful

Days of Our Lives viewers can understand, given the love he had not only for Sarah in the past but for her mother Maggie in the present, that he has to try at least one more time to coax the adult Sarah out of her subconscious! Gwen is upset that he hasn’t just given up on Sarah and let her go but he explains that her condition could still improve and he wants to try one more thing to help. Days of Our Lives viewers will see Xander head over to the Kiriakis mansion to see Sarah in her childhood persona for himself, and see if there is any hint of recognition or memory of their romance at all in her. Xander is unable to get anything more out of Sarah than an invitation to play hide and seek, and after her being missing for over a year he’s not interested in her hiding and him trying to find her! He tried to remind her of their love history and engagement, although he refrains from giving her a baby doll because if she does remember something, he doesn’t want it to be their dead child, and he finally gives up.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Defeated Xander Cook Returns To Gwen Rizchech And Suggests They Marry Right Away

Days of Our Lives viewers will see a defeated Xander return home to Gwen, and tell her he is done trying to bring Sarah back to herself and trying to reassure Gwen of his love, suggesting that they get married right away! Gwen, as Days of Our Lives viewers can imagine, is thrilled and starts making arrangements, as Xander calls Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and again asks him to be his best man, after telling her that Maggie is taking Sarah to a clinic in Florida for treatment. Jack asks Xander some very to-the-point questions, to make sure that he really wants to be with Gwen, for instance asking if the antidote had worked on Sarah, would he still want to marry Gwen! He assures Jack that he truly does love Gwen and wants her to be happy and that now he can in good conscience close the chapter on Sarah.
