Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander Tries Burning Confession – Clearing Ben’s Name Back to Square One?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) tries destroying his confession. He throws the letter into the fireplace. This prompts Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) to try and retrieve it. However, she could be too late, meaning clearing Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) could go back to square one.

DOOL spoilers teased that Xander would follow Clyde Weston’s (James Read) orders and write a confession. He not only wrote it, but hand-delivered it to Commissioner Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).

However, Hope, who is really Princess Gina, gives the confession to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) without even reading it. Then, Xander ends up finding the letter in Sarah’s purse, but she never had time to read it. This means he was saved from an explanation and he threw the letter in the fireplace.

While Xander was getting rid of his confession, Ciara was lurking nearby, waiting for the right moment. Once Xander and Sarah are upstairs, she pokes around in the fireplace trying to retrieve the confession without getting burned.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Back to Square One?

At the end of yesterday’s episode, Ciara was still fishing for the burning confession. If she manages to get it without it being totally destroyed, then Ben might still have a chance. However, there is a good possibility that the letter will be burnt.

This means that they will be back to square one in clearing Ben’s name. Clyde’s kidnapping scheme was pointless, Xander continues living a free life at the expense of another and an innocent Salemite will remain behind bars. It seems they will all have to come up with another plan to prove the truth about Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Hartley) murder.
