Days Of Our Lives star Brandon Barash (Stefan Octavius DiMera) just tied the knot in a wedding ceremony worthy of a soap opera. And the actor praised his new wife, Isabella Devoto, as he reflected on his newlywed bliss. However, Brandon also revealed that his daughter played matchmaker!

Brandon Barash just tied the knot with fiancée (now wife) Isabella Devoto. And the two enjoyed a romantic ceremony inspired by Great Gatsby. They wed on December 17 at the North Ranch Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California, reported Yahoo News.

And the 43-year-old Days Of Our Lives star gushed about his joy. Brandon admitted that he repeatedly tells his new wife Isabella (nickname: Isa) about his gratitude for her. “I tell Isa this all the time. And it’s cliche,” added the Days Of Our Lives star. “But I feel like the luckiest man on the planet.”

Making the wedding special, Barash’s 8-year-old daughter Harper Rose (from a previous marriage) proudly took on the role of flower girl. And Harper also helped her father tie the knot in a junior bridesmaid role. But the cocktail hour after the wedding catered to adults. For instance, specialty drinks included the Days Of Our Lives star’s favorite Manhattan and his bride’s choice of a negroni.

DOOL Spoilers – Star Brandon Barash Admits His Daughter Played Matchmaker!

Before tying the knot, Brandon revealed that his daughter took on the role of matchmaker. The Days Of Our Lives star met his now-wife when she worked as a teacher at his daughter’s school. As a result, Barash credits his youngster “with the whole relationship.”

And he admitted, “We kind of both do. They had a relationship before we did. And it was so funny because she was just a little matchmaker and she had really never been like that with anybody.” But after playing the “single dad” role for years, the Days Of Our Lives star noticed that Harper and Isa shared a special bond. 

“I was a single dad for a while and there was something about Isa that Harper just felt connected to,” he noted. “And for the longest time it was like, ‘Hey Daddy, you and Isa, you would kind of be good together.’ I said to her, ‘You’re five. How do you know what that means? What does that even mean? Good together?’ And she would say, ‘Well you guys just seem like you would be really great together as boyfriend and girlfriend.'”

It looks as if Barash’s daughter succeeded in her matchmaking efforts! And the proof came on the Days of Our Lives star’s wedding day. His 145 wedding guests enjoyed a dinner of merlot poached pear salad, chicken with a champagne and mushroom sauce, grilled salmon in a basil beurre blanc sauce and butternut squash ravioli. 

And after dancing to “Born to Love You” by Ray la Montagne, the newlyweds sliced their 4-tier cake. The creation featured alternating layers of lemon curd and vanilla buttercream and triple chocolate with ganache. However, the Days Of Our Lives star revealed the most important part of his wedding day.

“Just saying our vows and making that proclamation in front of everybody, that’s really what’s important to me,” shared Barash. And he admitted, “The party’s going to be fun and we’re going to have a great time dancing and drinking and eating the night away. But it’s standing up in front of everybody I love, including the woman I love, and saying, ‘Hey, I got your back for life.'” As they look ahead, a honeymoon to Spain just got added to their bucket list. However, for now, the two just feel “excited to start a new adventure together,” Barash summed up.
