Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Ciara Brady Returned To Days Of Our Lives, But Still No Hope Brady
Even though Ciara (Victoria Konefal) eventually turned up alive, something has been keeping Hope out of Salem and we will finally find out what’s been going on with her when Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, Chapter 2 begins streaming on Peacock on July 11. What made Alfonso decide to return and give Hope another try?
Well, in the end, it was the storyline Head Writer Ron Carlivati pitched to Alfonso that made her decide to do the spin-off mini-series.
“I said, ‘You know, Ron, I’ve got to tell you this sounds like so much fun,” Alfonso said in the July 12, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I was so entrenched and had goose bumps as Ron was telling the story. I was just absorbing and really enjoying what he was telling me, what his idea was, and he shared with me that Peacock really liked it a lot and then we went from there.”
DOOL Spoilers – Kristian Alfonso Had Nerves When She Returned
Despite playing Hope off and on and mainly on since 1983, Alfonso was still nervous when shooting for Beyond Salem began. As she got each script, she got more excited as she realized that the series would be an ode to the fans, as so much can be considered a throwback to yesteryear. Plus, Alfonso would get closure…for now.
“I’ve never felt such anxiety and such nerves,” she told Digest. “I mean, yeah, we all get a little nervous, but I could always push it away. I felt that the reason I was feeling that so much is because I wanted it to be everything the fans have wanted because there was no closure when I left Days of Our Lives and there were a lot of unanswered questions…This is like a love letter. This is for the fans”
Some of those questions will soon be answered when Peacock begins streaming this highly-anticipated second installment of Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.
