Days of Our Lives Star Shawn Christian Lands New Guest Role

Days of Our Lives alum Shawn Christian has just landed a brand new and exciting guest role. The actor, who is best known for his role as Dr. Daniel Jonas, will soon be seen on the television series The Rookie.

According to reports, Shawn will be playing a character simply named ‘The Hawk.’ He’s an old academy trainer who has a very interesting history with John Nolan. Spoilers tease that Nolan and the team must help capture a cop and his former mentor from the academy after he becomes a fugitive following an assault. In addition, Officer Tim Bradford will look for help from Officer Lucy Chen. She will be studying the criminal’s moves before they capture them.

It’s without a doubt that Shawn has been keeping very busy lately. In addition to his role on The Rookie, he’s also been playing Alan Mills on the television series Famous in Love. If that weren’t enough, he also has two movies that are in post-production: Instakiller and The Experience.

And while it doesn’t look like he’ll be returning to Days of Our Lives anytime soon, it’s great to see him working and doing so well on the small screen. We have a feeling that he’s just gotten started and that we will be seeing so much more of Shawn in the future!
