The Hallmark Channel recently teased its 2022 movie lineup. And thanks to two Days Of Our Lives fan favorites, watching the January films just soared to number one on our New Year Resolutions list! Both Alison Sweeney, who plays Sami Brady on DOOL, and Jen Lilley, known for her role as Days Of Our Lives Theresa Donovan, will star in Hallmark’s 2022 films. 

So gather together your popcorn maker and apple cider, put extra comfy cushions on your couch, and relax as you get a preview of the Days Of Our Lives stars’ roles on Hallmark movies in 2022. And in a case you needed another reason to anticipate these films, they all air in January, the month where chilly weather and snowstorms tend to keep us indoors!

In addition to Days Of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney, the Hallmark Channel brings back fan favorite Lacey Chabert in the “Wedding Veil,” per Soap Opera Network. Autumn Reeser joins the two actresses in what marks the first film in a trilogy.

“Wedding Veil” (which currently is the tentative title from Hallmark, subject to change), features a trio of college pals. And these friends find themselves in the midst of a mystery, thanks to the unveiling of an antique veil. Does the myth of the veil that claims to reunite the owner with her true love hold true? 

We’ll find out amid twists and turns including the discovery of a lost painting and a charity fundraiser. Actor Kevin McGarry joins Alison, Lacey, and Autumn in the “Wedding Veil.” The Hallmark channel will debut the film on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.

The Hallmark Channel’s new movie, “Love Is Trending,” features Days Of Our Lives star Jen Lilley as a marketing executive named Mackenzie Sullivan. Based in New York, this businesswoman battles to hold onto her clients. Actor Christopher Rusell plays a character who seems just as determined to succeed.

But as “Love Is Trending” reveals, Mackenzie decides to value friendship over business. As a result, Jen Lilley’s character leaves New York and finds a completely different lifestyle and world in a rural maple farm. Can Mackenzie manage to make the leap from profit-focused New York executive to loyal friend to her BFF in a rural area? Sullivan’s pal only gets two weeks to plan her wedding, and she really needs her pal to focus. 

In the end, “Love Is Trending” will reveal that true friends and a loving, supportive family prove more valuable than a long list of chic New York clients!  Watch “Love is Trending” premiere on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.
