We know that Peacock scored a home run in airing the Days Of Our Lives Beyond Salem spin-offs. But will that convince execs behind the scenes to provide subscribers with daily new episodes as well as every episode ever aired? Learn what we discovered in our Days Of Our Lives investigation below!
Days Of Our Lives – To Offer Over 14,000 Old Episodes On Peacock?
When the news first broke about Days Of Our Lives ending its NBC run, the media dashed to describe the history-making decision. But just one problem with that dash to become first. Different publications offered noticeably conflicting accounts of Days Of Our Lives going to Peacock!
For instance, Fox News reported three items. First, the network shared that Days of Our Lives would move from NBC to the Peacock streaming platform. And second, it noted that NBC would replace the soap opera with a daily news show.
But the third item has resulted in a flood of confusion. That part of the report claimed that starting on September 12, Peacock Premium subscribers would receive two benefits. First, subscribers could watch new daily episodes of Days of Our Lives. And second, Peacock Premium subscribers could supposedly choose from more than 14,000 of the show’s past episodes to view. However, no one from Days Of Our Lives has confirmed that last item. Despite that lack of confirmation, confusion has resulted. So we investigated. Keep reading to see what we discovered!
Peacock – Twitter Won’t Confirm Days Of Our Lives Library Rumors!
Searching on Twitter, we found several conflicting reports. For instance, Peacock TV offers a Twitter customer care account. And when customers ask about the report of older episodes, the account provides a cut-and-paste answer.
Peacock’s customer care account responds only about new episodes. “Starting September 12, 2022, Peacock will become the exclusive home of new episodes of Days of our Lives,” tweets the folks behind the scenes. And they hedge on those past episodes claims, adding “Stay tuned for more details regarding the streaming availability of older seasons.”
But we also noted that the West Coast editor of New York magazine’s Vulture tweeted a different story. “Some folks on Twitter have asked me this, so I investigated,” posted the editor. “When #DaysOfOurLives moves exclusively to Peacock next month, the library isn’t going to expand. The streamer will continue offering the most recent season’s episodes and well as the previous season.”
And the editor added, “Is it possible at some point, Corday Prods. and Peacock could work out a deal to digitize older episodes. Of course. But as of now, there are no plans to do that at launch, or likely anytime soon. Hopefully this will change.”
Tell us what you think. If Peacock does provide every past episode of Days Of Our Lives to subscribers, will you sign up? And what do you think about NBC ending the show’s time on the network? After you share your views, check back on our site for more Days Of Our Lives news!

I really want to watch from the beginning. Very disappointed. I think it would make more people sign up.
Yes I would love past seasons on there at least from 2014 and on would be nice Please put past seasons on Peacock please thank you
Would love to rewatch the 80s and 90s episodes. Please add past seasons to streaming!
I’ve been watching dool since 1982! I would 100% sign up for peacock IF they put all past seasons on! At least fro. 1980 to present! Who wants to watch a show that’s been on since 1965, and NOT know ANY or partial characters?! Of course you have to be able to ho back and watch the history of these characters! There’s a petition that’s going up to demand peacock stream ALL past seasons of DOOL!
Yes I would definitely sign up if they would start to show DOOL season 1 episode 1 to present!
