Days Of Our Lives Winter Preview: DiMera Family Unites, Alex & Stephanie Wed, Chanel’s Pregnant, Sophia Befriends Rachel

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal it’ll be a cold winter in Salem; however, the drama will be HOT! The Peacock soap just dropped an extended preview, and it provides great insight into what fans can expect over the next few months – so let’s talk about it.

DiMera … Human Bones?

The Days preview opens with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), along with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) in the DiMera crypt.

They are looking at something, as Chad questions if it’s a “bone” and Kristen fluffs Chad’s statement off. Theo then takes a look and he states that, “It looks like a human”.

As the scenes shift, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is in the DiMera mansion as he tells EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that they’ve received a positive ID from the lab came back, which is when EJ asks Rafe if he knows who the bones belong to? The next clip is of a crying Kristen, so is she upset about the bones they’ve found, or something else?

New (Secret) Bayview Besties

Speaking of Kristen crying, as the Days winter preview progresses, a scene is shown of Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) sitting on her bed at Bayview when a women’s voice says, “Hi, Rachel”. Of course, it’s none other than Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd).

The young girl tells the teen, “I know you, my brother said you couldn’t talk,” as Sophia places a finger over lips and tells Rachel to “ssshhhh”. Looks like Rachel may keep her new friendship with Sophia a secret.

In other DOOL preview news, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is shown opening a letter when white powder pops out of it. Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is about to approach him when he tells her to step back.

Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is shown next on the phone, alerting the fire department and hospital as this could be a “bio-threat” situation. A photo of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) is revealed, looking very suspicious.

A Very Horton Christmas

The Days of Our Lives extended winter preview offers an insight into the holidays, as the Hortons are gathered and ready for their annual tree trimming party.

Chad is there with Charlotte DiMera (Autum Gendron), and Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher), along with Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves), JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).

Also in the shot are Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark), Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).

Moments of the family hanging their famous “Horton” ornaments are shown, as Julie comments on what a blessing it is to be together.

Meanwhile, the holidays are about to get busier for Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).

As they hang Trey DiMera’s (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue) “Baby’s First Christmas” ornament on their Christmas tree, Chanel tells Johnny she’s pregnant. Chanel looks excited; however, Johnny looks a little worried!

Love Is In The Air

In more Days preview news, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will get down on one knee and propose to Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) in front of the entire Hernandez family, while it looks like Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will also get hot and heavy with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).

Meanwhile, Stephanie proclaims that she doesn’t want to wait another minute to become Alex’s wife, as another clip shows a finely dressed Alex picking up Stephanie, who’s donning a white gown. It looks like there will be two weddings in Salem, very soon.

Javi and Leo’s wedding ceremony is shown later on in the preview, but so is a clip of Leo coming face-to-face with his ex, Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte), as Dimitri plants a kiss on him.

As the scenes shift, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) grabs EJ face as they are in the DiMera mansion. She lays a passionate kiss on him, and the next clip shows EJ passing out on the couch, as Cat tells the man, “Sorry, Mr. DiMera, dinner is going to have to wait.

Love Triangle At Titan

Over at Titan, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will fire Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and it sounds like it’ll be because of his growing bond with Sarah.

In fact, a clip shows Brady and Sarah in a lip lock. Maggie lashes out at Xander in another scene, after he’s fired Brady.

A hand of an unknown man in a hospital grabs at Kristen, who’s also dressed and looking like a patient. Kristen apologizes, as the man screams, “Get out!” It’s unclear exactly who the man is.

Over at Brady’s pub, the preview also shows Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) having a major lover’s quarrel.

 Lab Chaos Exposed

As the Days of Our Lives extended preview continues, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is in EJ’s lab, as he tells her, there’s something he’s ready to show her! Paulina looks utterly shocked by the glowing light from the human-sized capsules.

Next, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Kristen celebrated with OJ and champagne, as they toast to getting what they want, and screwing anyone who tries to stop them. Of course, the next scene shows Gwen in bed with Xander.

Days fans can also expect some conflict, as Arianna “Ari” Horton (Marissa Reyes) tells her friend Holly to “snap” out of the glitch she’s in, as the next scene shows Ari embraced with her mom, Gabi, as the young girl is crying.

There will also be a confrontation between Cat and Jennifer, as she tells the woman, she’s no victim, she’s a vile predator.

Just as Jenn says that – a clip of Jeremy in his black hoodie, looking very sketchy, is shown. The scene after that is Stephanie getting ambushed from behind, and a chloroform cloth being placed over her face.

Stephanie Johnson Kidnapped?

As the Days promo wraps up, a shocked Rafe enters EJ’s lab, alone, sneaking in, and he’s completely caught off guard.

The next scene shows Rafe at the DiMera mansion in the living room with Kristen as she states, “He’s all around us in this family.” Clips of Theo in the hospital are then revealed, with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) crying.

As scenes flash, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is next, telling Brady that Rachel still needs to be at Bayview, and a clip follows with a heartbreaking scene of Brady leaving Rachel’s room in the institution, as she begs her father to come back. Brady sits by the closed door, and is visibly emotional

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) captures an unknown assailant (who looks a bit like Jeremy) in the park, asking where his daughter is at, while Alex punches Jeremy in a supplies room. There’s a good chance Stephanie has been kidnapped.

The House of DiMera

There’s some police action, such as Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) fires a shot, along with JJ.

The two are on duty, at night, in the park, and Shawn is then shown on a snowy Salem Street floor looking very upset. Has he been shot? Could the two have accidentally shot Theo?

A clip of a man’s hand placing a ring on his last finger is shown as the preview wraps up. It’s very reminiscent of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). The man’s hand is only shown.

Then a scene of Kristen, EJ, Chad, Theo, and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) is revealed, and they are all dressed in black. EJ states, “The house of DiMera will not fall.”
