NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) files charges on Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) arrests him for threatening the sociopath, which was something pushed by Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). However, Salem’s bad boy will end up advising Jan to drop the charges, but why the sudden change of heart?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Scheming With Jan Spears
DOOL spoilers reveal that Xander is not happy that he has to share the CEO position with Philip. Even though Philip is Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) son, Xander thinks he jumped through too many hoops to not be the new CEO. While Victor is forcing the two men to work together, Xander has been plotting to get rid of Philip.
This led him to scheme with Jan and tell her to report Philip’s threat to the police, which forces Shawn to arrest the Kiriakis heir.
DOOL Spoilers – Sarah Horton’s Fury
When Philip is arrested for threatening Jan, Xander silently smirks to himself. He can’t believe his plan is going better than expected. However, he didn’t factor in how Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) would feel about this. She is furious and threatens Xander, telling him that if he goes back to his old ways, then she will leave him for good.
Days Of Our Lives – Xander Cook Kiriakis’ Decision
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Xander wants Philip out badly, but he also can’t risk losing Sarah. So, he calls up Jan and strongly suggests that she drop the charges against Philip. However, just because Xander tells Jan to do something doesn’t mean she is going to follow orders. It all depends on what’s in it for her.

DOOL Spoilers – Paul Telfer Explains
In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Telfer explained what is going through Xander’s mind when he tells Jan to drop the charges.
“Sarah definitely does withhold from him things that he wants when he starts to behave in a way that she thinks isn’t conducive to both of their goals. That’s fun because it’s the first time somebody is stopping him from getting what he wants and he can’t get angry about it because it’s Sarah. He has to try and adjust his behavior to the degree that he’s able.”
