Goodbye Daytime, Hello Primetime!

The Young and the Restless fans just saw Adams leave the soap, as Noah, along with his gal pal, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) left Genoa City to get a break from Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and headed to Los Angeles. With that said, the actor already has a job lined up in prime time.

Adams is set to guest star on the ABC drama RJ Decker, playing a character named Liam, in Season 2. The new season is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 15.

But that’s not all, as Lucas has even bigger news for fans. The actor’s agency recently uploaded a post on Instagram noting that the actor has a “REALLY COOL, REALLY NEAT, REALLY SECRETIVE PROJECT” that he’s busy with for August. It’ll be interesting to see what this is all about!

Adams debuted on The Young and the Restless as the latest Noah Newman recast, son of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) in early November 2025. He then exited in early August of this year.

Prior to that, Adams played Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) long-lost son, Tripp Johnson, on and off, from 2017 to 2024, on Days of Our Lives. The actor also had a recurring role on the Disney Channel show Liv and Maddie, playing Josh Willcox from 2015 to 2017.

In addition, Adams has guest-starred on many primetime shows including Dexter, True Blood, and The Thundermans, just to name a few.
