Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Harris Michaels Was Steve Burton’s First Daytime Role

Longtime viewers of DOOL will remember Harris Michaels was a high school boyfriend of Eve Donovan, then played by Charlotte Ross. The role of Harris Michaels was Steve’s daytime role, long before he played Jason Quartermaine, later Jason Morgan on GH. Steve said it was just supposed to be a day player role and not last long, but it turned into an arc lasting several months.

Harris Michaels was in a triangle with Jake Hogensen (Scott Reeves) over Eve; this arc is also when Scott Reeves met his wife Melissa Reeves. Jake was the big man on campus, and had dared Harris to take Eve on a date, and “score” knowing she once had been a prostitute.

DOOL Spoilers – Eve Donovan Didn’t Like Any Of Jake Hogensen’s Friends

The way the story went, Eve didn’t like any of Jake’s friends – except Harris, and she liked him a lot! Back in the late 1980s, storylines like this were common – the hunky high school boys treating the girls like sex objects, betting who could get them in bed first. Harris had decided to take Jake up on his bet, but instead of getting Eve in bed and then dumping her, they went out on many dates. But then, Harris started caring for Eve and she soon learned about the bet he’d made and she attempted suicide by sleeping pill overdose. Harris was in love with her, but she couldn’t forgive him for how it started and they broke up.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Steve Burton Reprises The Harris Michaels Role

Steve is reprising his role as Harris Michaels, but the context of his appearance in the storyline has not yet been publicized. We do know that Peter Reckell will also reprise his role as Bo Brady, and Kristian Alfonso as Hope Brady. Robert Scott Wilson and Victoria Konefal also appear as an adult Ben and Ciara Weston!

Bo Brady has been dead for many years, so it will be a surprise for viewers to see him alive – unless this is a trip that combines the past and present. Where Steve comes in as Harris is unsure because so far it has not been revealed if this is in the past or if Eve or Jake’s roles will be included.

DOOL Spoilers – Other Current Characters Will Appear As Well

These are the current DOOL characters who will appear as well; Deidre Hall as Dr. Marlena Evans, Drake Hogestyn as John Black, and Stephen Nichols as Steve “Patch” Johnson. Mary Beth Evans as Kayla Brady Johnson and Lucas Adams as Tripp Johnson will also appear, and Camila Banus as Gabi Hernandez, and Remington Hoffman as Li Shin. There are more to be announced and the storyline will tie to a past storyline, which may be where Harris Michaels comes in. The five part series will take place all over the world and a mysterious adversary will wreak havoc on all their lives.
