However, it’s not by choice. He either secretly records Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) admitting to everything or DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will send Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) to prison for aiding and abetting a criminal.

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Eli is forced to make a choice. One is that he can keep his promise to Lani, but risk her going to prison. Or he can risk his wife hating him forever, but keeping her from giving birth behind bars. For Eli, the choice is simple. He loves Lani so much that he will do anything to protect her, even if it means losing her forever.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Trask suggests that Eli get a taped confession from Kristen. So, he goes to pay her a visit and tells Kristen that he needs her help to prevent Lani from going to prison. Kristen falls for it and talks about all the things that Lani did to help her after she stabbed Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). She incriminates herself and doesn’t even realize it.

DOOL Spoilers – What Happens Next?

Even though Eli does secretly record Kristen confessing and plans on handing it over to Trask, we think there is a twist in this story. He just might end up changing his mind at the last minute.

However, will Lani really go to prison or could Mayor Abe Carver (James Reynolds) end up stopping Trask from going after his daughter? Could he eventually fire the DA after he learns that she is targeting Lani? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to find out.
