It didn’t just break up Lani and Paulina, it broke up Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina, and broke Abe’s heart as well, because he loves Lani like his own daughter! Abe finally was able to forgive Paulina after she explained what happened, but it took longer for Lani.

DOOL Spoilers – Paulina Price And Lani Grant Forge A Mother-Daughter Relationship

Days of Our Lives viewers understand how it’s strange for Lani to accept her aunt as her mother and her mother as her aunt! But somehow Lani is able to finally accept it, although it took a while-it wasn’t that she didn’t understand why the family secret was kept. Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that poor Lani felt like her whole life was a lie when she first learned that Paulina gave Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo) her baby to raise. Lani also understood that Paulina was just a teenager and her birth father was abusive but it was still difficult to forgive not just Paulina but her mother for not telling her.

Days of Our Lives viewers will see Lani and Paulina finally start to have at least somewhat of a functional relationship with each other. They start to act like family should act with each other again, and Lani gets a glimpse of what Paulina would have acted like with her as a baby, watching her play with her twins.
