However, when Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) finds evidence in a room that was never searched, Rafe’s job could be at risk. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) could demand that Rafe be demoted or even fired.

DOOL spoilers reveal that when Abigail’s body was discovered, Rafe made a promise to Chad. Rafe swore that he would personally oversee every part of the investigation and find out who killed Abigail. However, Chad feels that Rafe and the other detectives aren’t doing enough to find Abigail’s killer.

Chad’s rage exploded when Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) dropped the bombshell about Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) being the “tooth fairy.” Chad dragged Leo to the police station and demanded to see Rafe. When it was explained that Rafe was off duty at the moment, Chad exploded. Chad mentioned Rafe’s promise but that might not be the only issue.

DOOL Spoilers – Jada Hunter’s Evidence

While Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) tries to pry a confession from Leo, Jada searches the secret room. Jada ends up finding a fork – the same fork Leo used while eating his breakfast the morning of Abigail’s murder.

When Jada comes back to the station, she confirms that the fingerprints on the fork belong to Leo. So, Chad will be furious that this fork wasn’t found earlier.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera’s Demand

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Leo having to go on trial for murder won’t be the only explosive part of this storyline. Chad could be livid that Rafe didn’t do a thorough job in solving Abigail’s murder. Chad might reason that Rafe should have searched every inch of the house instead of just the bedroom.

Of course, Rafe will say that there was no reason to indicate the killer was hiding in the secret room. This won’t matter to Chad, though. In fact, Chad might lash back by throwing Rafe’s complicated relationship with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) in his face.

DOOL Spoilers – Commissioner Demoted?

Chad will definitely want Rafe to suffer the consequences for missing a key piece of evidence. Chad might threaten to sue the police department unless action is taken against Rafe. While Rafe probably won’t be fired, could he lose his position as commissioner? If so, will Rafe blame Jada?
