Recasted Kids

First up, there are a few recasts and returns to mention. Thomas DiMera is now being played by Cole Gersmeyer. Charlotte DiMera will be portrayed by Pippa Blaylock. Then, we also have Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), who reaches out to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).

Jack will probably want to express relief that Gwen is okay. Gwen has a hard time believing any of the Deveraux’s cared, as she explained to JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss). So, maybe this can be a fresh start for Jack and Gwen.

It turns out that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will give their daughter a very special name. However, while one family celebrates life, another will mourn Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford).

Elsewhere, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) confronts Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).

Romantic Evenings

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 24 reveal that one couple will have a romantic evening. In fact, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) plans a night that will sweep Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) off her feet!

Meanwhile, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) turns to Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews).

However, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) wants alone time with his wife and drops the baby off with Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans). It sounds like Alex might interrupt something between Stephanie and Theo!

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) questions Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) about his plan. 

Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) gives Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) love advice. I wonder if Gabi will encourage Javi to give Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) another shot. The lady liked Gus (Michael Ocampo), but she can also see the truth about Javi’s heart.

Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) angrily confronts EJ. Meanwhile, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) urges Johnny to tell Chanel the truth. 

Plus, Ari overhears a disturbing conversation. Speaking of Ari, she will get a special request from Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow). We will also see Jack and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) reconnect. 

As for Marlena, she has a special keepsake for Belle. There will also be some developments on the chessboard mystery, so stay tuned!
