‘DOOL’ Spoilers Weekly Update Jan 5-9: Dimitri’s Leverage, Chad’s Deal, Bonnie’s Bad News

Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for the week of January 5, 2026! Fans can expect Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) to get the upper hand.

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)  makes a deal with Belle Black (Martha Madison). Plus, Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) gets bad news. Keep reading, and let’s talk about what is coming up in the Peacock soap opera.

Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis’ Bad News

Let’s start off with Bonnie. Fans know that after Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) success with One Stormy Night, Bonnie decided she was going to write a book, too. The blonde has named it “One Stormy Afternoon.” We know, not very original. 

In any case, Stephanie took the news pretty well. Instead of getting insulted or jealous, she just said, “More power to her!” 

Despite Bonnie’s best attempt to write a best-seller, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) delivers bad news. It sounds like Bonnie won’t be a published author after all.

Chad DiMera’s Deal

Let’s move on to Chad, who is trying to get over Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord). Now that the DiMera family has been rescued from the crypt, Chad is headed to mediation. Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) thought it was better than going to court.

That means Chad and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will need to make an agreement or compromise. 

Chad needs help getting over Cat. It is teased that he will get some help from Belle, who needs to get over EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Interestingly enough, Chad and Belle were matched by the Salem dating app. So far, the app has matched the right people together, so let’s see what happens!

Dimitri von Leuschner’s Leverage

Days of Our Lives spoilers for next week reveal that Dimitri has crash-landed in Salem. It comes right after Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez’s (Al Calderon) wedding.

Now, this was all set up by Gwen. So, the woman in the sparkly red dress will have some serious explaining to do! It is also teased that Gwen will get in hot water while Dimitri has leverage.

As for Leo and Javi’s future, there is good news! The newlyweds will be okay for now. Leo will find a way to prove his love to the firefighter.

What Else to Expect

Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) wakes up. The young man will also struggle with the realities of being a DiMera. 

Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) surprises Tate Black (Leo Howard). However, will Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) cause problems with her secret escapes?

Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) celebrate New Year’s together. However, what will Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) say when she learns her father’s friendship has turned into a romance?

Also, Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) continues to stand her ground with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
