‘DOOL’ Spoilers Weekly Update July 21-25: Melinda Strategizes, Teens Rescued, Kayla vs EJ

Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for the week of July 21, 2025! Fans can expect Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) to come up with a new plan for Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd).

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) blows up at EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Also, Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) get their freedom back. Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the Peacock soap opera.

Marlena Evans Collapses

Let’s start off with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), who has been mourning the loss of John Black (Drake Hogestyn). Doc did get some bloodwork done but Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) said everything seemed fine.

The psychiatrist did confess that she hasn’t been eating or sleeping well since losing her husband. So, the doctor figured it was from Marlena’s grief.

However, a preview clip shows Marlena collapsing during Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) attempted murder trial.

Holly Jonas & Ari Horton’s Freedom

Next up we have Ari and Holly. A thug has kidnapped the recent high school graduates due to Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) not paying up. Holly was talking about everything except their current situation.

It was Ari who has been keeping a level head and telling Holly that they can’t just wait to be saved. They need to find a way out of there now.

Meanwhile, Tate Black (Leo Howard) is getting a little help from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). While Rafe and Tate search, Doug goes to say a bittersweet farewell to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner’s Feud

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of July 21 reveal that Gwen Rizczech von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) bickers with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) again.

Later, Gwen makes a jaw-dropping discovery. Could Gwen’s necklace vanish and land in Julie’s hands?

Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) continue to argue Later, Xander decides to allow Sarah to visit their daughter.

Gwen will also get into a heated confrontation with Gabi. Afterward, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) has a proposition for Gabi.

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) offers his support to Tate. Elsewhere, Melinda has a new cover story for Sophia.

Also, Kayla blows up at EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Could the University Hospital doctors quit over EJ’s extreme cuts? In any case, EJ does go to get some help later in the week. Expect him to chat with Marlena, but will he take her professional advice?
