Frantic Chase

Let’s start off with Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) kidnapping. The captor was probably counting on everyone hating Gwen and nobody noticing she was missing.

Leo definitely noticed, especially when she still hadn’t read her text messages. According to Leo, Gwen reads them, even if she doesn’t respond. Not this time. 

Then, there was the missing document that Gwen left for Leo. So, next week, Leo will try to get to Alamania.

It looks like Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) might be behind the kidnapping. However, is it due to the designer knock-offs, the hospital, or both?

EJ DiMera’s Conscience

Fans might recall that in Friday’s episode, EJ talked to Stefano DiMera’s (last played by Joseph Mascolo) portrait.

In that scene, EJ mentioned he’s trying to do things without feeling. Well, that is exactly the opposite of what Marlena will try to do.

The woman will try to urge EJ to follow his conscience. Can EJ’s soul be saved before it’s too late? He’s already done quite a bit of damage. 

Joy Wesley’s Demand

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of July 27 reveal that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will issue a demand.

The woman wants Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) to agree to something shocking, so it must have to do with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). I swear, Stephanie is about to snap.

Alex promises his wife that he won’t agree to Joy’s terms. However, I have a feeling that Joy will force Alex to see things her way. In fact, she ends up turning to Belle Black (Martha Madison) later in the week.

What Else to Expect

As for the rest of the week, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is convinced that EJ is becoming too much like Stefano. Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) gets caught in a lie. 

Everyone gathers to celebrate Rachel Black’s (Lorelei Olivia Mote) homecoming. Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) and Gus (Michael Ocampo) discuss their future together. 

Also, EJ and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) share a rare moment of honesty.
