Hot Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Jake And Stefan Are Twins!

Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers divulge that there is a very good reason why Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) looks exactly like Stefan DiMera—they’re identical twins. Fans were a bit skeptical after the DNA test results showed that Jake “is Stefan!” as Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) keeps exclaiming. After all, head writer Ron Carlivati swore that Barash would not return to the soap as Stefan but as another character altogether.

So, it makes entire sense that Jake and Stefan are identical twins with the same DNA.

Regardless of who Barash came back as, he and the fans are thrilled that he did, and he is lighting up the canvas as Jake the mechanic, a very different person than Stefan the dark prince.

Barash recently talked to Soap Opera Digest about his return and what it’s been like to play a totally different character on the same daytime drama.

For starters, Jake must decide whether or not he wishes to “become” Stefan via a serum which would ostensibly restore his memories. Just in the nick of time, Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) arrives and spills the truth about Jake which leaves him wondering, “Wait, I’m not this guy? Am I relieved? Am I disappointed?” As Barash points out, it’s not lost on Jake that he stood to inherit all that comes with the DiMera name, mainly wealth and privilege.

Oh, and also Gabi herself! Gabi has been pestering Jake to no end but it’s clear that he is intrigued by the forceful and attractive woman.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What’s Next For Jake Lambert On Salem?

In addition to the jaw-dropping news, Jake must now contend with the fallout from the stunning reveal and this includes the presence of his mom, Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorrel). Poor Vivian did not know that she gave birth to a second son (!) and she will no doubt want to be an immediate part of his upended and tumultuous life.

What’s next for Jake? According to Barash, there may be a gold digger who is circling the newly minted millionaire. When Jake returns home after having his whole world blown away, a blast from the past catches up to him and she is very thrilled to learn of his new status—watch out Jake there is more than one shark circling the Salem waters!
