DOOL spoilers reveal that Li is not new to the franchise. While he hasn’t appeared on the NBC soap opera before, he was on “Chad & Abby in Paris.” During that installment, Chad was drugged and put in a compromising position by a spiteful and obsessed co-worker. Then, she accused him of sexual harassment, which is what led to “Chabby” returning to Salem.

In a photo published in Soap Opera Digest, Chad and Abby look extremely pleased when talking to Li. This seems to indicate they get some sort of good news. With Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) out at DiMera Enterprises, we are going to assume Chad is given back his old position as CEO.

Brandon Barash’s Return

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Barash confirmed his return date is April 23. However, we don’t know if the actor will be portraying Stefan, another DiMera, or perhaps it’s just a man that looks exactly like Gabi’s dead husband.

It is interesting that Li’s arrival in Salem comes during the same week that Gabi sees Stefan, who is supposed to be dead. It can’t be a coincidence and makes one wonder if the two are connected. It wouldn’t be the first time that DiMera secrets came out and it is possible that Li knows something about this man who looks like Stefan.

Remember, Li and his father are on the board at DiMera Enterprises. The company is connected to the bionic eye, the exploding pacemaker, and quite possibly Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) brain chips, too.

Considering how close Dr. Rolf was with Stefano DiMera (formerly Joseph Mascolo), the patriarch had to have made plans to earn money on the mad scientist’s sinister experiments. Perhaps this is all somehow tied together. We will have to keep watching to find out how this storyline develops in the next few weeks.
