NBC Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a summer 2020 preview video has been released – and it packs in lots of sizzling drama! DOOL has new episodes all summer long, so let’s dive in and see what’s in store.

First, let’s talk about Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and her baby fears. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) was ecstatic about having a little one with Lani, but she didn’t share his enthusiasm. Lani isn’t certain she can go through with this pregnancy, so Eli will push her to open up.

DOOL fans can expect Lani to break down in tears and admit how scared she is. What if her next baby dies like David Grant did? That’s the question that’ll haunt Lani, but Eli will give her the strength she needs to have this child. Lani and Eli will fill Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) in on the pregnancy soon enough.

Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings: Allie Horton Returns

Next, let’s talk about another Days character’s baby dilemma. Allie Horton is pregnant, so she’ll show up in town looking for guidance from her uncle. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will help Allie along with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), who’ll clash with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) upon her return.

Sami may feel like Nicole’s overstepping, but Allie would probably rather confide in Nicole than her overbearing mom. Regardless, Nicole and Sami’s feud will explode after Eric and Nicole’s wedding. Days spoilers say the reception will turn into a major showdown as Sami rushes toward Nicole and flings her into the cake. They’ll end up rolling around on the floor and making an even bigger mess.

Sami will smear cake on Nicole’s face as Eric tries to make them cut it out. As for Allie, she’ll be hoping to find someone suitable to adopt her baby. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) could be considered briefly, but he may mostly serve as a source of advice. He understands the adoption steps since he’s been trying to adopt David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends).

Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) have already been talking about adding a baby to their family, so they seem like the perfect fit. It appears they’ll be the ones Allie ultimately selects as her child’s adoptive parents.

Allie embraces Rafe at one point in the Days summer preview video, but Sonny and Will get hugs as well. There’ll be a lot of love surrounding Allie as she prepares to give birth. Nicole will be by Allie’s side in the delivery room, so that’s sure to drive Grandma Sami up the wall! Nevertheless, Allie will hopefully give birth to a happy and healthy baby when this is all over.

DOOL Comings & Goings: Claire Brady Returns To Salem

Over with Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan), she’ll score her early release from Bayview thanks to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). After much contemplation, Marlena will give the green light for Claire to return home. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will be tickled pink when he realizes Claire’s coming to live with them.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will also be back in town for a while. They’ll want to hang around and support Claire as she reenters society. Claire’s friend from Bayview, Gwen (Emily O’Brien), also happens to be Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) ex-girlfriend. Once Gwen is released as well, she’ll reignite some passion with Jake at the garage.

Naturally, Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) fury will erupt when she spots the pair making out. She’ll yell at Gwen to take her “nasty paws” off her husband. Gwen will look equally disgusted with Gabi, so we’ll already have quite a rivalry going between these feisty women.

Who Is Returning To Days of Our Lives This Summer 2020?

On another note, look for Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) to make a comeback this summer. Vivian will be overcome with emotion as she sees her son, who may or may not be the real deal. Regardless, Vivian will have a chat with Jake down the road. We’ll see if she’s as convinced as Gabi that Jake is actually Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).

At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will welcome his own son home. Jay Kenneth Johnson will reprise the role of Philip Kiriakis, so that’s certainly something Philip fans have been waiting for. Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), however, won’t be as thrilled – at least not initially. He might change his tune if Philip becomes Brady’s competition for the Titan CEO seat.

We’ve covered Eric and Nicole’s wedding, but Lani and Eli will also have their special day. The same goes for Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), but Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) could easily derail their plans to tie the knot!

Finally, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will have their wedding ceremony as we build to a huge summer cliffhanger. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben and Ciara’s nuptials will descend into total mayhem, so stay tuned.
