Defending Daddy

Let’s start off with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). The woman was just confronted by Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

The lady knows that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was wrong, but she is still defending the man. Both Victor and Victoria believe that anything is okay as long as it’s for the company.

With Victoria and Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) both defending the patriarch, I wonder if this could cause conflict with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Phyllis Summers Lashes Out

Over with Phyllis, she just got Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) letter. The redhead was told that Summer wants nothing to do with her. Then, Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Grazaidei) disowned his mother as well.

While Phyllis claims she can do it all by herself, it gets quite lonely at the top. I wonder if this could force Phyllis’ hand, or just make her even worse.

Lily Winters Blasted

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, April 2 reveal that Phyllis will end up crossing paths with Lily. The redhead will take out her anger on Lily.

Phyllis is the last person who should be blasting Lily for the fake kidnapping scheme. After all, it wasn’t that long ago when Phyllis faked her death.

Matt Clark Closes In

Over in Las Vegas, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) knows something is wrong with Nick, but he isn’t sure what yet.

In the meantime, Adam will keep trying to get intel from Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani). Adam has to earn her trust, first. So, it’s taking a bit.

Meanwhile, Nick is giving into his addiction and has gotten a bonus substance from a drug runner. Nick was asking the drug runner questions about Matt. While the drug runner wouldn’t give up any info, he surely has alerted Matt. 

Chances are the bonus substance will make Nick pass out. That will leave an opening for Matt to strike back. Will Adam return to the hotel room and find Nick gone? Everything about this drug runner and bonus substance screams danger, but Nick is too addicted to think very clearly.
