Will Lamon Archey Make Another Days Of Our Lives Return?

Days of Our lives fans got a treat for Christmas when Lamon Archey made a return to the soap with his character’s two adorable twin babies.

It was only a few short months ago when Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers left their popular roles of Eli Grant and Lani Grant behind. Lani confessed to murder and was sent away to prison and Eli moved himself and their twins, Jules and Carver, to be closer to her.

Apparently, she was not allowed visitors on Christmas because Eli decided to head back to Slaem with them and visit the Horton home. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was thrilled to see her grandson and great-grandchildren, so Eli took them to see their grandmother, Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry), next. He also visited with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). It was a quick visit but a welcome one, so will we get a repeat performance.

When Lamon Archey left Days of Our Lives earlier in 2022 it was to pursue other acting projects. Eli had already been in a coma for months to give Archey some time off, but the actor finally decided to leave on a more permanent basis just as Stowers did, so Eli and Lani were written off together. However, Archey will likely be seen again soon and he likes these sporadic appearances.

“I talked to Albert [Alarr, co-executive producer] before I left,” Archey told Soap Opera Digest. “He had asked me if I wanted to come back and do some more episodes. I said we can definitely talk and figure it out. Recently, they did reach out to me and asked if I’d stop by again and help out with some stories they have going on. So, of course, I’m down to pop in and lend a helping hand.”

So, what might being Eli back this time and will Lani ever be released from jail early so that the Grants will return for good? They were a highly popular pairing and fans just want them to find happiness — and freedom — together.
