CBS Announces 6 Young And The Restless Stars Participating In “Landmark” Daytime Crossover With Beyond The Gates

The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that six major characters are slated for a “landmark” daytime crossover event with Beyond the Gates. CTS has all the details below.

The Abbotts, Newmans, and Winters Visit Fairmont Crest

During the Television Critics Association (TCA) Beyond the Gates panel, which took place on Tuesday, January 27, CBS announced a major daytime TV event: a multi-episode crossover between Beyond the Gates and The Young and the Restless.

While this isn’t the first time BTG has done a crossover with characters from its sister soaps on CBS, it is the first time it’ll feature not one, but six major stars from the Y&R.

A press release CBS shared noted that this crossover storyline will air in June. The six Y&R characters in question heading to Beyond the Gates include

The Moustache himself, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), as well as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James), and Abby Newman-Abbott-Winters (Melissa Ordway).

The Iconic Crossover Storyline

The CBS press release explained that in this crossover storyline, fans learn about the longtime and close friendship between Victor and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis).

The Newmans will arrive for a high-profile political fundraiser, as the friends reunite, and BTG viewers will also find out that Victor has backed Vernon’s campaigns over the years, while Vernon fought for legislation that’s benefited Newman Enterprises.

While Vernon is no longer in politics, he’ll invite Victor to act as the keynote speaker for his grandson, Martin Richardson’s (Brandon Claybon) fundraiser.

Still, Vernon isn’t the only person in Fairmont Crest who has friends in Genoa City. Martin and Kyle are longtime buddies who bonded in NYC after college. Martin will invite Kyle to his fundraiser, and he’ll bring his parents along for the ride.

In addition, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) invites Devon and Abby as her special VIP guests, where the music mogul will field an unexpected business opportunity from the Dupree matriarch.

The press release notes, “As the evening unfolds, a shocking event occurs, abruptly derailing the fundraiser and triggering dramatic consequences that will impact every guest in attendance.”

Speaking of Devon, he was part of the first-ever crossover for Beyond the Gates and appeared on the soap in August 2025 for one episode.

Meanwhile, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Thorsten Kaye also had two appearances within a crossover storyline, playing Ridge Forrester.

Still, all his scenes were phone calls from L.A., as he conversed with Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and her bestie and business partner, Pamela Curtis (Cady McClain), in October 2025.
