#1 Carly Corinthos Doesn’t Want To Live This Lifestyle Anymore
Carly recently confided in Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that she’s grown tired of the mob lifestyle in Port Charles and that she wants things to slow down, at least from a personal perspective. She said that ever since her daughter Donna was born, things have changed for her. But they haven’t changed for Sonny and quite frankly, it never will, either. He is just as entwined with all of the drama that Carly wants nothing to do with anymore.
#2 It’s More Of A Partnership Than A Marriage
Let’s face it: while Sonny has always supported Carly and has respected her as both his wife (well, maybe not always) and the mother of his children, they have become more of a partnership than a marriage. In fact, many General Hospital fans do recall that it was Carly’s best friend Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who ended up at the hospital first when she gave birth to Donna. Where was Sonny? And why does it always feel as though Jason is Carly’s husband-in-waiting and someone that she can always confide to with her most personal matters? Isn’t that what Sonny is for?
#3 It’s Time For Something More Exciting
Now, that’s not to say that Carly needs to find another man in her life (or maybe so), but it’s time for her to have some excitement in her life. Sonny is too involved in controlling the streets of Port Charles and getting rid of people like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to spend any time with his wife. Watch this space as we have a feeling that Sonny and Carly will find themselves on a bumpy road ahead.

Please let sonny and Carly alone I love them together
All marriages have issues from time to time …going out cheating not supporting your loved one CArly don’t give up that easy neither does Sonny
The only reason there will be a problem between Sonny/Carly is that it never fails that they have to break up and make up and they have been doing well for too long so it is the time for writers to split them and then bring them together again. The two know and understand each other better than anyone else could. The idea of Carly/Jason as a pairing is over the top they are best as BFF and hope writers don’t interfere with their relationships. Breaking up Willow/Chase and Michael/Sasha for a really dumb reason is enough of causing problems for pairings for the rest of the year.
