5 Things Fans May Not Know About General Hospital Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Kelly Thiebaud is officially back on the soap as of this week, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. While GH audience members mostly know her as Dr. Britt Westbourne, here are five facts about Thiebaud that some may not know.

Her Beginnings

Thiebaud was born in El Campo, Texas, and started out in modeling. She gained a passion for acting after appearing in four music videos from David Guetta, a record producer and French DJ, and her official first onscreen role was in Journey of Redemption, a 2002 indie film.

She’s A Joker

Some GH fans know what a joker Thiebaud is, and one look at her social media accounts, and you can get a feel for the incredible sense of humor she has. With that said, Thiebaud once studied with the improv and sketch comedy troupe, The Groundlings, which is located in Los Angeles.

She was also part of a sketch comedy group, Tickle Crisps, that performed in both L.A. and New York, and hosted shows at Second City.

Not Her First Daytime Rodeo

Shocking but true, Thiebaud has been on soaps, other than General Hospital! She landed a three-day run as ‘Alicia’ on Days of Our Lives in 2011 and returned to the show in 2020 playing a four-episode arc as Zoey Burge.

Romance On The Set

Thiebaud was once involved with ex-GHer, Bryan Craig, who played Morgan Corinthos. The two were even engaged.

They started dating in 2013, and he popped the question in 2015; however, sadly, they ended things in 2016.

Fur Baby Love

Thiebaud doesn’t have any human kids but is a devoted fur baby mom to her dog, Whiskey. In fact, one only needs to take a look at her social media to see videos and photos of her sweet pup, Whiskey.

The adorable pooch even has his own Instagram account! She recently posted an IG reel, highlighting times with him, with the caption, “Happy 11th birthday to my Whiskey boy. I love you forever, my boy (heart emoji)”.
