American Thanksgiving takes place the week of November 25-29, Thursday, November 28 to be exact, which means this may affect the broadcasting schedules of some of our favorite daytime dramas!

No need to fret, below is an outline of when all four soaps are airing this coming week.

Days of Our Lives Is A Given

There’s good news for Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans where American Thanksgiving is concerned! As the soap streams on Peacock, there will be zero programming interruptions.

In fact, you can watch the show in the morning before Thanksgiving preparations or after the big feast takes place in the evening … it’s up to you!

CBS’s Daytime Dramas

Over at the CBS network, where The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B), as well as The Young and the Restless (Y&R) air, there are some pre-emptions to note.

Both soaps will air new shows from Monday, November 25-Wednesday November 27, and fans can expect to see the families in both L.A. and Genoa City gather to give thanks for what they have.

There will also be a ton of drama that hits the fan these three days, so viewers of both shows need to brace themselves as chaos erupts during the last official week of November sweeps.

Still, it’s important to note that the Y&R and B&B will be pre-empted on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, with new episodes commencing on Monday, December 1. This is due to CBS Sports Coverage.

General Hospital’s American Thanksgiving Pre-emptions

Meanwhile over at ABC, General Hospital (GH) will air new episodes from Monday, November 25-Wednesday November 27. On Thursday, November 28, the soap will air a rerun from July 19 of this year.

To remind fans, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will celebrate ‘Stone Cold’s’ freedom from the FBI during the repeat.

In addition, GH’s Friday, November 29 show will be pre-empted due to sports; however, fans can look forward to fresh new shows (including fresh new drama) starting Monday, December 1.
