What Channel Will 2020 Daytime Emmy’s Be On?
CBS will once again telecast the Daytime Emmys, which will be held on Friday the 26th. The last time that the Daytime Emmys had been aired on CBS was in 2011 it was then moved to cable from that point between the years of 2012 to 2013. It would last be shown on Pop Tv in 2015 before it began to be shown online instead available for streaming via YouTube, Facebook, as well as KNEKT-TV streams.
CBS Kept Connections with NATAS
This did not stop the Daytime Emmys from keeping contact with CBS as they would use the show “The Talk” to announce the nominations for the award show. The nominations for the 47th annual Daytime Emmy will be revealed on “The Talk” as usual and will be revealed on ET Online on Thursday.
The announcement was made the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences president and CEO Adam Sharp who stated, “The Daytime Emmys are coming home. For generations, daytime television has been a source of comfort and continuity that’s never been more important. We’re delighted to join with CBS in celebrating the programs and professionals who never cease to brighten our days.”

Jack Sussman who is the Executive Vice President would go on to say, “As a leader in daytime, we are thrilled to welcome back the Daytime Emmy Awards. Daytime television has been keeping viewers engaged and entertained for many years, so it is with great pride that we look forward to celebrating the best of the genre here on CBS.”
