Five Important Things To Know About General Hospital Newcomer Bryce Durfee

General Hospital Spoilers indicate that Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) has recently met her WSB handler. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has assigned Vaughn to Josslyn to teach her that ropes of working for the WSB.

Vaugh is Bryce’s second daytime role, the first was a model on B&B. Here is a few important things to know about Bryce who plays Vaughn.

This Is Not The First GH Role Bryce Durfee Has Auditioned For

1. Although Durfee is a native of Nebraska, he was raised in Wisconsin and working as a model when he auditioned for the role of Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Swickard and Durfee are long time pals from their days in modeling.

2. Durfee posed for are Abercrombie & Fitch, Forever 21, Target, Walmart, and Apple. He still considers modeling to be his main job, the career he supports himself with in between acting gigs. Durfee does enjoy acting and spending time with his friends. Durfee is currently represented by LA Models.

3. Durfee studied at Warner Loughlin Studios, Howard Fine Acting Studio, and Aquila Morong Studio. These are certainly some of the most notable Los Angeles drama facilities. He also scored one of the leads, opposite Cole Gerdes, in the 2012-2013 comedy series, Model Idiots.

The show followed the adventures of Bryce and Cole, two male models living in Los Angeles, who spent their days living the good life. Namely, working out, tanning, and wearing designer clothes.

4. Bryce has been happily married to Amber Rood Durfee, since September 28, 2019. Bryce and Amber, met back in 2012, share their home with their two adorable dogs. The dogs are obviously adored as they are in several family photos on the Instagram page. Even in his family photos one can see how much he loves modeling as well.

Bryce Durfee’s Connection To 9-1-1

5. Durfee will likely be recognized by 9-1-1 fans. Durfee played a character named Jonah Greenway. Greenway was a very unpredictable character who filled in for Chimney at station 118.

Unfortunately, Jonah loved the praise of being a firefighter so much that he would nearly kill his patients at times and save them at the last minute.

When Chimney returned, Jonah was transferred to Station 113. When dispatcher Claudia Collins died after being alone with Jonah, some of the other employees became suspicious and began an investigation. Eventually they found out about other suspicious deaths and he was arrested.

Durfee has obviously had lots of acting experience in different venues. Daytime may be a fun changes of pace for him and will give him a chance to show of his acting chops.

The connection between Vaughn and Josslyn will be an interest aspect to see. Will they become the next romantic couple in Port Charles?
